Speed 1 and Speed 2 at the SIG Sauer Academy

Great weekend at the Academy, both classes were full of motivated students who were more than happy to put lots of brass on the ground. I was a bit lazy on the picture taking but I should have more coming in from a student and I’ll post them when they arrive.

As with virtually every SIG Sauer Academy class, the dreaded one hole drill!

This class was pretty heavy on Federal Agents and some motivated ones at that, here they are practicing their press outs.

Rich Verdi is a former Police Sergeant, having retired after nearly 21 years with a municipal police agency in New Jersey. Rich served as a Patrol Officer, Patrol Supervisor, Emergency Services Team Leader and the departments Training Officer / Rangemaster. He is a NJ state certified Rangemaster and a member of the NJ Attorney General's Firearms Advisory Board.
